WELCOME TO ART HISTORY!
Any course of study containing the word “art” is NEVER a playtime course. In this class, you will be expected to work and work hard. Art History is first and foremost an academic course of study. If you demonstrate that you are doing what is expected, then you will have no problem whatsoever making the grade. If you choose NOT to participate, not under any circumstance will you be given a grade (especially passing) except the grade that you have earned. You will be surprised at how much you can and will learn if you only put forth a little effort. To pass this class, you will need:
- 1 notebook or section of a notebook for your notes
- 1 spiral notebook in which you will keep your quizzes, vocabulary, and writings. I will keep these and pass them out at the beginning of each class. You will take each quiz WITHOUT notes (so you had better study)
- Access to a computer with internet access. If this is a problem, please see me. This is necessary in order to do any homework, papers, etc. that will be assigned. Since textbooks are not issued for this class the textbook is available online.
